Just back from a lovely weekend at this peaceful and central cottage. Set back down a side street, it felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the front. The house was clean, comfortable, and full of character, with personal touches that made it feel like a home. John, the owner, was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast supplies were a nice touch, and the kitchen opening onto the beautiful garden was a delight. a wonderful stay.

The location was excellent, just a minute's walk away from everything the town had to offer. The house itself was charming, filled with interesting books and wall hangings, creating a cozy and unique atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the fresh flowers that were placed throughout the house, adding a lovely touch to our stay.

The lack of a shower in the bathroom, which could have been a useful addition. Another inconvenience was the difficulty in finding parking nearby, which proved to be quite a challenge during our stay.
